The peace of Jesus

It is extremely difficult for me to be here right now, but I have the peace of Jesus, knowing I am where He wants me. That is my only comfort right now.
Please pray for Earl and family.

  1. Rosel,
I've been thinking of you, and know it must be very difficult staying in Africa right now. We stayed home also, but knowing something important is going on in your family close to home must be more difficult.

We'll be praying for all of you out there in Burundi. Praying for peace and the power of God you need to do your work as the excitement and newness of it wears off and your days turn into a "monotonous routine"(?) (Hopefully not).

    Love, Celia

  2. Issac, Rosel and Colton; I love to read your blog it reminds me so much of our Kenya experiences with Jen and Jer. I wanted to extend my warm sympathy to you on Ramona's passing. It is difficult being so far away from Earl and family, and we will continue to uphold you all in prayer.

May God continue to provide all your needs according to His riches.

    Blessings
    Joyce and Eric

  3. Rosel,

Thinking of you and your family so much. I am sure it must be difficult for you to be so far away from family at this time. I will continue to pray for Earl and family. And pray for you and your family, that you can continue to serve the Lord and do his work.

Thank you for all the updates!

    Love
Laura ( and the rest of the Oswald crew!)

  4. Rosel,Isaac and Colton,
We are so saddened to hear of Ramona's passing, but are filled with awe and wonder to think of her walking with Jesus now. As you know, our (your) Bible Study friends have been praying for Ramona throughout her courageous and faith filled journey. We will continue to pray for Earl and the families.
We have been so blessed and touched by your blog, and keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
    Much love, Eleanore and Paul

  7. Hey Precious,
I just checked Earl and Ramona's blog this am b/c I had called in sick with a very sore throat this morning. I was saddened to read the blog, then I realized, Jesus had called this precious soldier home. And suddenly, my sore throat didn't seem that bad after all. What an amazing testimony her life has been for me in the last number of years. God is so good that through someone's faithfulness, he can teach others. We are praying for peace for you, Isaac and Colton at this difficult time, but we stand firm on the knowledge that "All things work together for good, to those that love the Lord." Be blessed as you are blessing so many others including many of us at home with your willing hearts to serve the Lord no matter where that might take you.

    Luv you guys,
    Arnold and Alvera
